After a few more encouraging words, Cato, Sonia, and Beren left so that the others could spend some time alone with Lysander before the ceremony.
"Well, I didn't see that coming." Kit shook their head after the door closed behind Beren.
"I did." Loma announced.
"Of course you did. Why didn't you give us a hint?" Kit laughed as they unbuttoned the cuffs of their formal jacket and rolled up the sleeves, relaxing into their usual self now that the acolytes were gone.
Loma shrugged. "I only realized I saw it when it came true. Sometimes it's like that. Once in a while, I get a full vision, but sometimes I get bits and pieces that I can't put together in any way that makes sense. Other times I'm not even sure what it is my visions are showing me at all until it's come to pass. I have no control over it at all. It can be really annoying."
