Wren rolled Rowan to his back again, then climbed up on the mattress beside him. Something had shifted in those golden eyes, and Rowan felt like he'd been captured by a wolf that had reached the limits of his ability to resist devouring him.
He wanted to be devoured.
Wren pushed Rowan's thighs apart so he could sit on his knees between them. He felt totally exposed as that scorching gaze lingered between his legs, and he squirmed when Wren pulled his hips up his lap, angling his pelvis for a better view.
When Rowan's knees began to drift closed under the intense scrutiny, Wren pressed a hand to his belly. "Don't. I want to look at you. I've restrained myself this whole time even though I want to fuck you senseless after what you pulled at the cemetery. Let me have this."
