Chapter 67 - Chapter 66: Creature

I bobbed and screamed for help, but water had continued to fill my mouth and into my lungs. It burned and caused me to cough, only I could no longer take in air and inhaled water instead. I kicked and felt it contact the creature making it release me briefly. Kicking to the surface, I coughed and gasped for air screaming for help again. It was dark and there was very little chance anyone would be out here to hear me. Nomatter how hard I kicked and flailed, I couldn't keep my head above water for very long. A lassoed rope landed in front of me.
