Hiroki's POV
As we finally sat at the 2-person table, I surveyed the surroundings, turns out, queuing is not necessary as a waiter comes to take and deliver the order. Good news for my legs... Bad news for me! (#┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
So, I must bear it for the whole lunch?!
"Waiter!" - the person in front of me shouted. Eh? What was his name again? If I remember correctly, he introduced himself in our first encounter. After filtering through the embarrassing parts, I found his name - Shinri
"My friend, what do you want to eat?" -he said
"Just call me Hiroki, calling me my friend is just so embarrassing!"
"Then, Hiroki?" - he said as he lowered his head a bit. What's with that ambiguous tone?! And Why are you blushing?! ಠ益ಠ
I just ignored him and uttered my order, "I'll have rice with chicken soup as main and fruits as a side"
"Uhmm, I'll have rice and 2 fried chicken with gravy! And can you please add a mashed potato? Thank you!" - he is unexpectedly a heavy eater? But it doesn't show? He has thin as toothpick arms and extremely slender legs. Tsk, talk about not judging a book by its cover.
The waiter finally went to fetch our orders and we were left to wait.
The awkward silence didn't come as I've anticipated and as I had feared, he quickly became chatty again!
"You know? This morning it drizzled, right?"
"Yeah" - I replied
"I actually predicted it yesterday" - he said while raising his nose to the air as if smug.
Cute~
"Let me tell you a secret as well" - I said with the intention of teasing him
"What! What is it?" - he said somewhat excitedly
"Come closer"
He came closer and I whispered to him, "Actually, I can also foretell the weather" - After uttering those, I shushed.
"What!" - he was extremely shocked
Lol did he believe me?
"I was kidding hahaha" - I just can't help it
"Y-you, you liar, hmp!" - he pouted but as I pointed out to the coming waiter, his mood was clearly uplifted again
Our food came and we started eating, we conversed occasionally about normal things this time and after eating, I realized that... It wasn't as bad as I thought?
I finally smiled at him.
