"My lady! My lady! You need to know about this," one of Alina's maids ran into her room with urgency.
Alina was surprised at her maid's behavior since they always behave properly. But right now, her maid looked like she ran straight home from where she came from due to her disheveled state.
"What's wrong?" Alina surmised that it must be something important.
"My lady, the war between Valyenor and Valencia has ended," the maid informed her.
"Really?! That's great news!" Alina beamed. But her maid's facial expression didn't look happy at all.
'Did something happen to Marquess Hendrick?!! Is he gravely endured?!' Alina paled at the thought that it could have been worse.
"What is it? What happened?" she decided to ask before she went to conclusions.
