"I see. I thought that the three of you could have been abducted due to the traces of magic I found," the Grand Magus said.
"Eh? No. Not at all. We were not abducted. We were saved right before we hit the ground," Stella clarified.
"I see. No wonder there were no traces on the ground. I felt magic from two different people though. Did your savior have any companion?" the Grand Magus asked.
"No. He was alone," Stella replied. She was dumbstruck when she was informed that everyone thought they were abducted through sorcery due to the magical traces that the Grand Magus felt.
She realized how everyone must have struggled to find them while she enjoyed meals prepared by the Great Sage. She suddenly felt guilty even though it wasn't her fault.
"Stella, you had a lot of injuries when I caught you. Did someone get into the carriage and hurt you?" Hendrick asked.
