Stella and Zafir were both surrounded by the bright glow from Lana and Lobelia's magic.
She thought that the burn marks would finally be cured and the curse would be lifted. But after a while, the light was gone but the burnt marks on them didn't vanish.
Meaning the curse was not lifted. She glanced in Lana and Lobelia's direction and they both looked pale. All of a sudden, they coughed up blood and lost consciousness.
Conrad and Fabian were quick on their feet and caught the two before they fell to the floor.
"It seems it's much more complicated," the Great Sage sighed.
"What happened to them?" Stella asked nervously.
"The curse cannot be undone even after they renounced the spell. It didn't work and reflected back to them. Their body got damaged a bit," the sage calmly said while everyone else was wide-eyed and worried.
"Damaged?!" Stella blinked rapidly and glanced at the Grand Magus who was healing the two.
