They change and evolve just as humans do. They had feelings, charms, and misgivings. No matter how perfect they were as described by the author, the author was only able to reveal a limited facet of their life and their lifestyle.
Not everything was in the book. Alina and Aiden had more possibilities within them. They are so much more than the kind of limited characters that she hated in the book she had read. Because they could change over time. They are people. They also learn from their mistakes.
