Chapter 2 - Journey

Kulas punched Elvis in the face. "Another round, Kulas." Elvis said as he was regaining his balance. Kulas dodged Elvis' swift punch and sent a shock through his arm. The shock reached Elvis' neck and exploded, sending him across the room. Elvis coughed and stood up straight once more. Kulas adjusted his tie and smiled. He looked at Elvis. Elvis had his hand behind his back. Kulas sped toward him and aimed his fist for his stomach. Elvis dodged his punch and forced his energy into Kulas' ribs, launching him across the room and leaving him rolling across the floor. Kulas spun and jumped back up. There was a loud knock on the door that sent a jolt through Elvis. Kulas walked to the door and opened it. He was suddenly punched in the gut and thrown aside by a tall figure. "Doran's orders, kids, you need to exit this building." Elvis watched as the demon walked through the door and and laughed. His skin was red, and his face was wrinkled and mashed, he was wearing a blue kimono, and he was a tall demon with defined muscles. Kulas pushed himself up. "We need to defeat this creature, Elvis! Just harness your energy as best as you can!" The demon kicked Kulas in the gut and Kulas landed next to Elvis' foot. Elvis backed up. He didn't know what to do at all. He grabbed a book from the shelf next to him and launched it toward the creature. It hit the monster in the face and bounced off, and the creature picked Elvis up by the hair. He shook Elvis up and down, and he slammed him to the floor, crushing his ribs instantaneously. Kulas struggled to help Elvis. The creature grabbed Elvis and threw him out of the building, left alone to get eaten by the rest of the demons, Kulas assumed. Kulas forced electricity through the ground so that it would burn everything in the room. It caused a massive explosion that sent Kulas out of the building and landed them next to some of the brainless demons that were lurking outside the building. Kulas forced himself up so that he could grab Elvis. The only thing Kulas got from the fire was the hat. He jumped onto the roof of a hospital and made the quick realization that he had dropped the hat near the monsters. Elvis' eyes suddenly lit up. A massive force field grew around him and caused a shockwave so large that it launched most of the monsters away, and it gave Elvis time to get his hat. The demon working for Doran marched out of the fire and spotted Kulas instantly. He jumped toward him and drew his fist back. Kulas felt his bones crack as the demon connected his fist with Kulas' stomach. Kulas smiled. An electrical blast flew out of Kulas' stomach and blasted the demon's arm off. Kulas used a shockwave to launch the demon away from him. "Doran will be delighted that he has new pray to play with…although…you are nowhere near his level the way you are now. You are the first mortal I've met that was able to damage me…I will reward you with my name…Priest. All the demons below me praise my name, and the boss respects me as a good example for the weaker ones." Kulas pointed at Priest. "Smile!" Kulas made devil horns on his head with his fingers. Priest kept his frown secured. "Stop ridiculing us!" Elvis shouted from the ground. "I just thought that he could have a heart inside that tough shell! Forgive me for trying! Alright, I'll kill him now." Elvis launched a barrage of attacks toward Kulas, making sure to swiftly connect each one. Kulas was blocking most of his attacks, and he was discreetly letting energy flow into Priest's veins. When Priest stopped to gain his stamina back, Kulas let his energy burst all at once. Elvis had a surprised expression on his face. The buildings around them were destroyed. There was a massive fire spreading around them. He watched as the demon in the center laughed and slowly turned around. Except, this demon was not priest. This demon, was Kulas, and he was standing next to the severed remains of Priest.
