Another scene in Snow's memory.
Snow's mother brought a man into their house, introduced him as her husband and Snow's step father. A small wedding was held at the old church in their small town.
Everything was going smoothly, her step father Timothy was a very nice man, he paid for any expenses in the house and Snow's school fees.
He treated both Snow and her mother very well and made their family complete.
Snow's Mother suddenly became ill and could not even move from her bed, the doctors could not find any cure for her disease, told her to stay at home and pray for a miracle.
Timothy got fired at work and became a drunkard, he will always beat Snow up anytime he comes home from who knows where. He abuses her verbally and physically blaming her for everything that had happened including her mother's illness.
Snow felt alone, she had no relatives, she had no friends because of the unusual birthmark on her face. Her mother could hardly speak talk less of comforting her.
