"You did it," Brandon walks to me hurriedly.
His steps are fast, he is scared that he would lose me. I stop in front of my car; it is still in the same place I parked it before walking into a death trap.
"Thanks to you,'' I manage a smile even though the adrenaline is still racing through my veins.
I don't know what happened but I know I was given a second chance and I don't even want to wait around to figure out what the next step is. All I want to do is go home and be with my mate.
Just thinking that Colin watched it all happen scares me.
"Thank you, Brandon,'' I add. He helped me and it is rare to find good people these days.
He waves his hand in the air "I did nothing, you did all the work."
He is not asking any questions; it seems like he doesn't want me to leave without him but I never planned to take anyone else to my home.
