"Don't come here baby please just trust me.''
His words are like a knife in my heart. This is not his fault but it does something to me. The truth breaks me. It is almost like every time something happens, every time I find out that yet another person has betrayed me, it takes a piece of my soul with me.
All I ask for is loyalty.
All I want from them is to put their trust in me.
"Has he been to the pack? Is he the one responsible for the ambush?" I ask him slowly.
My voice is cold.
I am angry.
"No, he doesn't have any power. He has no choice on this. He is just as much of a prisoner as I am."
I take a deep breath "Okay, just stay there. I will come and get you.''
He opens his eyes wide from shock "You can't, you are not listening to me, Lo. You have to listen to me.''
