I have been thinking about those words for the last hour. He said he was on his way.
He disobeyed his father for me and that should make me feel good but I am scared shitless. I don't know what is happening but ever since I went for that retreat, it feels like nothing has gone right--okay, that is far-fetched. Col is the only thing that has gone right and I haven't even had the time to even enjoy him.
I love him so much but it feels like I am roping him into my mess.
"When are we set to leave,'' Griff walks into my study. I am holding a bottle of beer but I haven't even had the chance to even drink it. He raises his eyebrow at me, before sitting down on the couch opposite me.
"We are not going again."
"What do you mean we aren't going again, Lowell. We have to go. Let us just get this over with.''
