"That motherfucker is trying to undermine me,'' I snap angrily as I walk out of the meeting room with Griff. The meeting ended and I feel like we have gotten nowhere.
Griff remains quiet as I continue to rant out my frustrations to him. As my aide, that is his responsibility.
I don't like how the meeting ended. No one seemed to be on my side of things and it fucking sucked.
"You know they think you are a coward now that you are refusing to go,'' Griff speaks up finally.
I am not a coward.
"I don't give a shit what they think. I am not scared of going to the mountain pack, I just know that the outcome will not be what they think it will be.''
He nods in agreement but says nothing. The silence is deafening. I want to scream. I want to hit something. I know that anger is not the best solution right now. "I'll go with you L, you know that right?"
