{the ancient lazulis were a master at identifying lapis lazuli, since then lapis contained a huge number of energy and magic in it. Legend says that the goddess of water blessed all the lapis lazuli in the world, which led to its high concentration of mana and dark color. Because of this people considered lapis lazuli as something sacred and rare, even though there were many mines of lapis lazuli but unfortunately all of them were in the control of the imperial family}
{noble used this mysterious and magical stone for enhancement and protection, many jewels were created through lapis lazuli, noble ladies considered lapis lazuli as the fashion for eternity and wore it all the time, it increased their mana while also protecting them. During all this, there were a bunch of people with dark blue hair that looked like the night sky, they were called lazuli's by the people, lazulis were a master at identifying a true lapis lazuli and took it to a next level. The imperial family called out to them and gave them a formal status}
{the lazulis gained fame, they became so known that many merchants and nobles came to them for guidance, the people of the lazuli were considered to be blessed by the goddess of water as all the generations of lazulis wielded the power of water or should I say 'creation'. As time passed the curse struck them, it was a massive blow for the lazuli, the generations of lazuli decreased so did the production of lapis lazuli}
{as the north had more lapis lazuli than other parts of the empire, they got control of the production of lapis lazuli. This was a massive mistake for the imperial family as they could not get pure lapis lazuli from any other part of the empire other than the region under the lazuli, and since they grew on fame even the imperial family could not mess with them or the north}
{The imperial family did their best to take control of the north but failed miserably as the goddess of water Al-Maa protected them, the north got closed off, only the direct descended of Alodia could enter there, as time passed north eventually became a hidden site, any entries and exist were banned. This was because of the curse, lazulis did their best to avoid any attention and existed inside the north taking care of their people while also manufacturing lapis lazulis which had to be mined}
"I don't think we can do this anymore!" Leanne screamed, she was a former duchess of lazuli before they were framed, "dear I want to escape this nightmare! Our son is affected by this damned curse! What can I do other than watch him die on that wretched place" she was desperate, her only son Alfredo was affected by the curse which caused him to be sealed in the tower of the cursed lazulis "my dear Leanne! You can't do this now, after all what we have been through!"
This man was Felix, the former duke of the lazuli. He died in a carriage accident because of a huge rainfall during his escape from the north with his son and wife, "NO! You can't say anything anymore!" Leanne was desperate to save her dear son Alfredo, "LEANNE! You know... don't you" Felix gritted his teeth "we can't escape our fate" Leanna got silent "this is the curse of lazuli... I can't free our son"
Leanna and Felix married through love, it was around the time when north became isolated because of the curse. Her beautiful and bright child was cursed and had to be imprisoned as per the rules, but she couldn't handle it, as a former commoner who married a duke, she was disrespected and isolated from the whole north and the outside. Only her husband loved her and took care of her, after finally getting pregnant she was finally accepted and gained the respect she wanted only for it to be broken by a simple curse...
"No Felix... I can't!" she broke down to the floor crying and weeping, Felix could not move or comfort her as he wanted too... Felix was also stuck in this mansion with his cursed son and broken wife. In the end, the path he chose was to escape the north... leaving behind his family and people, only to die a pathetic death.
Later his little brother became the new duke and married a noble woman and led the north to victory again, this was the great leader Marx, he invented many great things and a way to find if the lazuli to be born is gonna be infected by the curse or not.
This was a dream I saw when I was still unable to walk, at that time I didn't know what it meant and chose to ignore it, that was until now...
"Aries?" it was indeed a shocking moment, the trial began and both of them got ready, Aries removed her cape and gave it to a little girl who was standing behind her "I believe that is her... maid?" Caspian nodded, the commoner also stood up and took two pieces of the lapis lazuli into his hand and gave one to Aries.
"Here you go, Lady Aries" he groaned, he was really annoyed at Aries who claimed something that could ruin his only business "thank you... 'sir'" while Aries mocked him [Now that's the Yuna I know]
Yuna had a proud and mocking personality, unlike me, she was really rough with people and openly mocked them. They held the lapis in their hands for a while and allowed people to touch it "now then what do you have to say!" the lapis was cool no matter how much she held it, holding the lapis and touching its coldness was a common way of checking whether the lapis lazuli was real or not, but it seemed as if Aries was not convinced.
"Please be patient mister" Aries rolled up her sleeves which was... umm... disrespectful and a very bad habit for a 'lady' "did you see that!" the noble ladies were whispering about her behavior, no matter how popular she was, behaving disrespectfully was gonna tarnish her name and status "yet she seems so proud..." I whispered under my breath.
