a huge palace, it was called as the rose request by the nobles, the palace was solely made for ball which was surrounded by different types of rose, it was an honor to the nobles to get an invitation to that palace, although it was easily gotten because of the lazuli awakening

lapiz let out a deep sigh

Khalid asked, both of them were travelling to the palace in the carriage of Viola, a carriage used by higher nobles
"I am still thinking why the heck I am wearing a veil again"
lapiz was leaning against the window with a dissatisfied face
"I finally got a beautiful face, and now I have to hide it with this damned thing"
Khalid chuckled at her statement
"don't worry, the veil will be taken off by his majesty"
he said with a calm voice, lapiz jumped at his word and looked at him
"WHY"?!
She was extremely curious
"well the veil represent something in this country, and it is very important, but it can be taken off by the emperor, since he holds the most power"
she looked at lapiz who was processing the information in her head and smiled a bit

Aries arrived at the banquet hall with a shocked face

As she arrived, everyone's attention went to her

Aries walked down the hall and stood alone in a corner, some of the ladies hesitated to approach her but gradually did it

he stopped and glanced upside to see lapiz who was wearing a veil
"LADY LAZULI"
he sweated nonstopply for not realizing who it was next to Khalid
"announce our arrival"

the crowd's attention went to the big door, all their gaze were waiting for those two to enter the hall

Khalid was looking at the crowd coldly, lapiz looked at him and could tell that he was concerned for her

maria was the wife of Sebastian, she had short curly hair with white shade, as the head maid her uniform was slightly different from other, she was the one that taught lapiz the stuff about this world and the rules she had to follow
"head maid, aren't you afraid about how the madam will end up"
lily asked with a gloomed face

she bluntly replied, lily was astonished at her statement while Sebastian smirked
"the lady is strong, stronger than ever. She has a will that is harder than anything, i don't know what made her that way, but i do know that she is strong enough to deal with this kind of thing"
she said with a straight face, lily bit her teeth and looked angry
"EVEN IF ALL THE PEOPLE IN THERE ARE GOING FOR HER"
lily shouted
"yes, lily the lady is strong, she is strong enough to survive here. she will not lay on her bed and sleep forever"
maria consulted lily, who was stubborn
