Three a.m in the morning is sure an unusual hour to wake up. Evelyn was more than excited for her breakfast date with...what's his name? She thought; now she felt kind of naive for not knowing the young man's name. All the Blame's on Tasha, she caused it. She said to herself as she immediately as she jumped out of bed straight to the bathroom. She came put an hour later patting her black hair with a towel. If you wonder why she took so long in the bathroom well I'm gonna tell you. She wanted everything that day to be perfect, from the way she smelt to the way she looked like. She was actually nervous. No one had asked her on a genuine date. They either wanted money or a bit of popularity. In addition, she never had feelings for them as she had eyes only for one person ; Alvin. You can say, she's part of those with the mindset that they can develop feelings later on.
After another long hour of beauty and skincare routine ; she went to her large wardrobe which was full of clothes for different kinds of occasions: from formal to casual. "Urgh...what should I wear?" She said as she scampered through the large collection of clothes she had dropped on the bed. None was satisfactory." I can't cancel this date! What do I do?" She said as she inserted her fingers through her hair. Evelyn decided to message her only help at that point; Tasha!
*E: Girl, it's an emergency
*T: What's so urgent this early morning?
*
E: Don't you remember?
T: oh breakfast with the knight
*
E: Seriously?
T: what? I don't know his name
*
E: same case here
T: Is that the emergency? Don't worry I'll send people to track him.
E:that's too much...I don't know what to wear
T: Something is really wrong? How can you say my superstardom designer friend ask me for dressing advice.
E: so much for the help
T: I think you should just wear something casual
E:Really?
T:maybe
E: I'd go with that
T: you're highly welcome

"Something casual, Aha!"
Evelyn came across a lovely tie dye sweatshirt and a pair of 'mom jeans'. She also wore a face cap as she didn't want people to recognise her. In addition to that, she wore a pair of black sneakers. For the final touch, she wore a beautiful trinket.
At Sweet 'N` Spicy
Evelyn stepped into the restaurant to see only a few customers. It was morning and most customers prefer coming for dinner. She searched around with her eyes for Stephen but she couldn't find him. At that point, she felt she was a fool. Evelyn took a seat close to a window and waited for him. Every five minute interval, she would take a look at the wall clock then look outside. "I guess he's one of them" She sighed . She couldn't wait any longer and she had lost her appetite . Just as she was about to pass through the door, she bumped into was someone. It was Alvin!
"You!" "You?"
"What are you doing there?"they both chorused. They glared at each other without sayings another word . "What I'm doing Herr is none of your business" Evelyn said taking her eyes off him to the direction of the window.
"I was about to say the same thing, shameless girl..."
"Stop right there" Evelyn interrupted, "Name's Evelyn and I am not shameless get that into your thick skull"
"Woah, look who's telling me what to know" Alvin said. Evelyn didn't pay attention to what he was saying, she only kept on looking at the window hoping for him to arrive.
"You're waiting for someone" Alvin noticed.
"None of your business " she muttered rolling her eyes.
"Please can you two carry your breakup somewhere else, you're blocking the entrance" A security personnel said to both of them while pointing at a particular seat. "What the heck did you say?" Evelyn shouted
"You too look like a couple in distress" The man responded wondering if he had made a mistake.
"You're mistaken sir. I can never date someone like her" Alvin said making his left palm move up and down. Evelyn was irritated; she didn't want to stay there any minute longer but as she was about to go, Alvin held her by the wrist and dragged her to a seat which was her former position.
"Let go of me..now!!" Was what she kept on chanting till he finally let go.
"You..."
"You were blocking the passage " Alvin cut in.
"I was about to leave" Evelyn said in an annoyed tone.
"You decided to give up on the person you were waiting for" Alvin said while playing with a roblox cube .
"..."
"Airhead" Alvin muttered long enough for her to hear.
"Scum bag!" She fought back
"You!..dickhead"
'There's no use , I'd just end up more angrier. I'd better go' she said to herself inwardly.
"Where are you going?"
"Home"
"You're not waiting for him?"
"How does it concern you?"
Alvin just grinned, he knew who she was awaiting his arrival.
"Yo! Stephen!" He signaled his friend to come over as Stephen just stepped into the restaurant. Stephen smiled seeing she was still there but she had a deep grown on her face.
"I'm super sorry for being late. I actually came in contact with an accident" Stephen explained
"What? Are you hurt. I'm so sorry about that"
"You should be, if he didn't have to meet you maybe that wouldn't have happen" Alvin interrupted.
"You..."
"Alvin, don't say that. I'm not hurt" Stephen said looking at the two who had clearly been fighting before his arrival.
"Where are my manners? I'm Stephen"
"Evelyn" She responded as she stood to her feet.
"What happened?" Stephen enquired.
"I lost my appetite few minutes ago because of this being" Alvin only smirked . Evelyn requested a paper and pen from a waitress then scribbled something on it.
"Here's my number, text me"
With that, she left
