Panic shot through her veins as she remembered. "―meeting?"
"Yes, about the issues with the demons and the human hunters."
"So, the humans have Dimitri and his mate?"
"I'm not sure, Mora, but you'll know later in the meeting," Sharon muttered as she nodded meaningfully.
Mora stopped herself from lunging at her desk. She'd totally forgotten and she had so much to do! "I'll be ready, Sharon."
She smiled at Mora. "I know you will. I have complete confidence in you."
Mora spent what was left of her morning cutting through the pile of work on her desk and then, instead of having lunch, prepared for the meeting with the coven leaders. It had been months, Anda and she was one of the few who had access to the head chief's office. Not that Morgana was gone, it had been the head chief's sole responsibility to tackle issues that the one-eyed woman hated. Political issues with the supernatural weren't her forte, and Mora knew about it.
