News flash, Pacheco isn't dead. Jacob stood off and watched as the man tumbled out of the car with his body oozing smoke. His hair was disheveled and his clothes looked like they had survived a civil war. He got out of the car and stumbled in the opposite direction. Blood trickled down his face. He nipped off and ran the moment he sighted Jacob. Jacob clenched his jaw and went after him.
Pacheco was badly injured. He limped as he ran, so he didn't get far. Jacob cut him off and threw a punch at him. The impact caused the man to crash on the floor. Heat waves rolled off his body and anger zipped through him.
