Sutton Price
Sutton stared at her reflection in her bathroom mirror. She couldn't recognize the girl staring back at her. She had red and puffy eyes, her cheeks seemed to have hollowed out, and her head seemed too big for her body. Sutton closed her eyes and tried to block out the image, but it's not working. She turned away from the mirror and got into the shower.
The water cascaded down her skin and caressed her features. The water washed away the tears which streaked down her face. She needed to survive if she wanted to save her family. None of her options looked good, but Jameson had given her a choice. She had to forget everyone in her life. Her family, and her friends, including Brin. She felt most guilty about Brin. They hadn't been in touch much these past few days because Sutton had been too preoccupied. And now she was about to cut her off with no explanation.
