Drew sat across from the criminal in the interrogation room. A single light on the ceiling dangled between them. Drew snarled at the resignation written all over Abraham Price's face. For almost two hours, he stayed seated in this room with Abraham in cuffs, and still didn't make any headway. Abraham Price was a stubborn man and even with all the evidence and charges leveled against him, he denied every crime when it was clear as day that he did it. Drew let out a puff of breath and stood up.
"You know, if you plead guilty, you could get a lighter sentence. Instead of being sentenced to death, you could serve life."
Abraham raised an eyebrow as if to say that his options didn't sound any better than the other. He looked away and chuckled.
"Humor me, detective, because I am innocent. Why would I plead guilty to a crime I didn't commit? Can't you see I'm being framed?"
