Sutton Price
Sutton sat at a diner. It was half-past three pm, and she had already left school for the day. Sutton wasn't only uncomfortable because of the probing questions her colleagues would have thrown at her. She was in a fix with Jacob's ambush. She had known they would see each other sooner rather than later, but she had not expected him to come at her in her own lecture room. He didn't even answer any of her voicemails. It was almost like he was defiling her sanctuary. It took the greatest strength she could muster to not fidget at the sight of him.
The most surprising thing that had happened was the surge of anger that slammed through her muscles at the sight of him. And then to cap it all, she discovered that all of Zion's claims and accusations weren't mere accusations. Zion was right. The Mackays murdered his father and all for what? For some stupid business rivalry.
