Two Years Later…
It was such a short period compared to forever, but to Jacob, it seemed like forever. He's spent two years in this city with overly blonde dudes and freckled ladies. Life here was so different from what he's used to. Not that he particularly missed anything about New York, but the floating city and its towers would hold their opening soon.
Jacob got up from his bed and stretched. His floor to ceiling glass window overlooked the ocean, and this was the view he woke up to everyday. Jacob's house was originally a guest house for couples or families on vacation. The house had caught his attention, so Vivian bought the property in his name.
