Andrew Mercado
Drew was in a dilemma. The murder of Jace Mackay was as clear as day. There were evidence, and there were statistics and facts that proved it was a premeditated, organized hit. But amid all this, it was extremely difficult for Drew to come up with a conclusion. He couldn't find the culprit. He had the entire case laid out in front of him like an incomplete puzzle. But a part was missing and without it, he couldn't finish the game. There was a blind spot and Drew was almost going crazy trying to work it out.
Together with Barry and a few men he trusted, he went over to the Mackay family house for questioning. Barry thought he was mad for going to question the parents of the deceased. He wasn't a homicide detective. He himself could also see no sense in the quest he had undertaken. There was no way the parents would have killed their young son, but it was a start at finding that missing piece, and so he proceeded.
