It was late evening. Drew took a walk around the park. The evening was cool and pleasant. Drew walked into the midst of families having a good time. It wasn't lost on him that soon he wouldn't be alone anymore. Marjorie, his daughter, would come home soon. Jacob had promised him. Thoughts of how much Marjorie had grown filled his head. Absentmindedly, he walked around. A little girl ran into him and clung to his leg. Drew reared back in surprise. He looked down to find a dark-haired little girl staring at him with tears in her eyes. Drew looked around in surprise but couldn't find any adult in sight. He squat down in front of her and pushed her hair out of her face. Tears streamed her face.
"What's wrong, little one?" He asked in concern.
"I can't find my mama and my sisters." She answered, wiping her face with her sleeves.
"Where did you lose them?" Drew asked, and the little girl shook her head.
