Brianna's POV
When I got back home I decided to just forget about work and maybe use this time to pack my things.
I would have called mom or dad but we aren't in talking terms.
This is going to be a very long year.
I packed my clothes into by suit case, I picked up other things I felt are very important to me.
The rest things belongs to the hotel.
The hotel had called me several times to ask were I was but. I wasn't ready to explain. Maybe tomorrow I'll send my resignation.
I was already starving, there was nothing to eat at home. I was surviving of the food I ate in the hotel.

The next day. I rolled my bag out of house and locked the door. I put the key inside my purse and continued moving .
I didn't have any cash on but I had a plan.
I flagged a cab down, put my things at the back sit and went for the passenger sit.
I directed the man to the house I was supposed get married. Fuck am getting married in a house.
The moment we got there he hunked and the gate was opened for us.
Stepping out of the car, I walked to the guard man.
"Settle him and get my things. Thank you" I realised a very welcoming smile which he returned with a nod.
I wore a red off shoulder gown with little fake stones on them. I had my hair laid down on my very flaw less shoulder.
I raised my shoulder high, my head higher and walked in I was prepaid for anything.
"Hmm glad your here let's get things done"
"Sure"
"Welcome miss." The man in black and white shirt and pants greeted. I guess he was the judge that would be joining us.
"Sit" The man I was getting married to said. I don't even know my soon to be husband's name, it's a shame.
"Take this read through it." The judge said.
"Diego De Lucas huh!" I scoffed realising an eye roll.
"Wait this states that, I'll have to perform all duties as wife does that include sex" I asked him.
Diego turned to me with a frown, "we've gone through this Missy"
"But you never__" he cut me short with a bang on the table. "Just sign the fucking thing".
"Yikes there's no need to be angry hubby" I joked.
In few seconds we signed the documents took pictures with the judge and the eye witness.
Once the judge was gone he turned to me.
"Now sign this"his horas voice came.
I read through it before signing. It stated that our deal was only for a year.
"Missy we'll be going to my house now. I hope your ready?"
"Yes I am" I gave him a glare.
We walked out of the house and went straight into his cars.
I looked at the ring on finger and then his I can't believe am married.
The drive to his house was quiet long and through the journey he was quiet.
The moment the gate was opened he turned to me. "You'll act normal and you let me do all the talking"he whispered into my ears.
Diego's POV.
We came down from the car and walked straight in the mansion.
Granny was sitting in the living room with Yasmin as they chatted.
"Diego. Your back, great timing it's brunch" Yasmin said with a smile on her face. I replied with a cold look.
"Granny I want you to meet Brianna my wife!" I stated and granny looked at me I'm with a perplexed look. I streched my hand for her to come forward.
She walked elegantly with a smile on her face.
"I don't understand you son".
"Granny you asked me to get married. I have. And this is my wife Brianna Salvador"
"Cousin. How did all this happen?"
"I and Brianna had been dating before I left for italy some years ago. I had actually come to America because of her. Because I wanted to unite with her" I lied through my teeth while Brianna looked at me in shock.
Granny walked to where we were standing and pushed me away from Brianna.
"Tell me girl. How much did my grand son pay to do this?"
"Granny_ " I tried to speak but she cut me off with a glare.
Brianna looked at me with tension rising in her face.
Gosh I hope this girl doesn't ruin thing's.
"No Granny, babe never did such. I mean we love each other and that's why we got married so fast. You can check our papers thier all genuine" She smiled taking granny's hand.
Brianna was way taller than Granny so it looked so cute the way she talked and held her.
"Show them" granny asked and I brought the envelope and gave it to her.
She read through it and almost lost balance but Brianna cut her.
"So it's true. My Grandson is married, not only married but married to a beautiful lady. Here take this you should keep it safe" she said handing Brianna the papers.
And in few seconds they were huging.
"Thank you so much for this news Diego" granny also pulled me into a hug.
After the huging and kisses. I and Brianna excused ourselves to our room.
We have to share a room until further notice cause I can't risk granny finding out that it's just a deal.
I opened the door and she got in realising a deep breath.
"That was close"she sighed sitting on the bed.
I watch her take of her shoes then brought a out a wipe from her bag and cleaned the makeup she wore.
"Am starving can I have food?" The pouted.
"Let's go down" I ordered.
"Her dude. We're married now, you can stop giving me commands"she rolled her words out.
"Let's go down Brianna" I glared at her this time around my voice was harsher.
"I'll just eat in the room. Can I?"
"I'll have a maid send you food"
I walked out of the room straight to the dinning. Granny and Yasmin were already seated enjoying brunch.
"Adele. Send foods up for Brianna".
"Yes sir", she answered.
"Why? If she doesn't want to eat here then you can't. Take the food up for the both of" Granny order.
"But granny_"
"Diego. You just got married you should know how to treat your wife. Adele give him the tray of food" I sighed inwardly and took the try from Adele.
I successfully carried the tray of food to my room, I opened the door to meet Brianna seated on the sofa, she had changed into a blue big and shirt.
"Food!" She squeaked the moment she saw me.
I drop the food on the table in front of her then sat quietly on the open sit.
I'm few seconds Brianna was on her third spoon of pasta.
My eyes got widened in shock as I watched her eat.
It was like she hasn't eaten for days.
"Ugh!" She coughed .
