Naomi appeared not to care about what Miriam said because she wanted to hurt Jasmine and Miriam. The master wanted Jasmine dead, whereas she wanted Miriam dead, so the two women had to die at her hands.
"Slice your right hand with that knife," Naomi ordered as she threw a penknife from her subordinates behind her.
"Don't do that," Jasmine said, stopping what Miriam was about to do. She didn't want her best friend to get hurt because of her.
"It's enough that you always protect me, and now it's my turn to protect you," Miriam said as she picked up the penknife that Naomi had thrown at her.
Miriam slashed her hand with the penknife, trying to endure the pain. Arda clenched his fists because he saw his woman in pain. However, Arda couldn't move because Miriam forbade her to interfere.
