Tatiana knew taking the wolves home with her wasn't a smart idea, but then she couldn't leave them on the streets to their fate. The world they lived in was different and wasn't as cruel as the one she had grown up in.
Leaving them to their fate on the streets could make her no different for the attackers, but why would she even want to be better than the attackers anyway? She knew if the rest of the wolves found out, they would suspect her of harming their kids — a risk she was somehow sure would pay in the end, but would it?
Losing people over the years had taught Tatiana to be a kind person because in the end, everyone would someday meet the same fate, no matter how long it took. Everyone had one common destiny, but before she joined the destiny designed for her, she would try to reach out her hand to the ones that needed her help.
Maybe that would allow her fate to change this time.
