After Mr Martin's driver helped him back to the car and drove away, his friend continued to stand in the parking lot. He stared in the direction that the car went.
Just then, his phone rang. The man had a nervous smile when he saw the caller. He sighed and then picked up the call. "Hello..." he tried to sound calm.
"Did you get the information?" The caller went straight to the point. One could tell from the caller's voice that he was anxious.
"yes," the man answered.
"Tell me," the caller said.
"He does not know the person who helped him; they never met," the man replied.
"What? Are you a fool? Can't you tell that he was lying to you?" the caller was angry. His job was at stake, and he needed to get a little clue. He would be done if he could not even provide his boss with a good lead.
