Emily got up that Saturday morning and decided to go for a run. She would be working from home later. When Emily ran past her neighbour's house, she felt like someone was looking at her. Although furniture had been moved in, she did not know if someone was in the house.
Upstairs, Eric had a faint smile playing on his lips; he returned to his new house that morning. After visiting the club, the previous day, he had left late and spent the night with Olivia, but he left early in the morning as he did not drink too much during the meet-up; he had just gotten to his room when he saw Emily running past.
She looked different from the person he had been seeing since she returned to the country. Eric could not tell why he felt good just seeing her.
