Emily was about to leave the company that day when Kevin reported to her. "Rostar had sacrificed the project team. I investigated a little and found out that Rostar compensated the four people involved to take the blame," Kevin said.
Emily smiled; she had expected this move but did not expect the staff to be compensated. She had wanted to use the team against them but seeing that they had received money, she knew that would not work anymore. "Do you have evidence?" Emily asked.
"No, the company was careful in dealing with this matter," Kevin said. Emily paused; if Rostar managed to clean herself from the situation, then she would miss her goal.
"Look for loopholes in the confession speech; expose what you know. Of course, since we lack evidence, make it a passersby comment. Then direct the conversation to this line. If they have many trusted customers, then let it go," Emily instructed. She knew when to take a step back.
