Olivia was anxious as a few weeks had gone by without Eric calling her; she knew he was busy with the government project, so she tried to comfort herself. A few days before the bid, she had gone to meet the director in charge to ask for an opportunity to join the project. She found out that Eric would also be a part of it, so it was better to create an opportunity for them to meet again.
The director was happy to see her interest; many people wanted to participate in the project as it would increase their end-of-the-year bonus. The director promised to check if any part of the project was suitable for her.
Olivia became more anxious when she discovered that ABM would partner with Steam to work on the project. She could not explain why but after listening to the waitress that day, she could not bear to see Emily and Eric having close contact.
