Henry dropped the call with Martin and felt like smashing his phone. He thought that he was running out of time. Henry never really took Martin as a friend; back in the university, he only shared his food with Martin because he wanted Martin to help him do his Laundry.
Henry's family back then were not poor, he was not from an influential home, but he could get the basic needs of life. His parents spoiled him because he was their only child.
Back then, he looked down on Martin, but since he was a loyal dog, he kept him by his side. After graduating, Henry had wanted to cut ties with Martin immediately, but since he had self-awareness and never asked him for financial support, he let him be.
Henry's parents had died in a car crash shortly after he graduated, so he took over his family business. In those years, it was Martin that maintained the friendship. He only started taking Martin as a friend when he later made some money.
