"My friends and I want to apologise for what happened earlier; it was our fault. We hope you can forgive us," Madeline apologise.
Emily looked at her; there was no hidden insult in her words. This surprised her. She wondered why they had a change of heart. 'Could it be that they misunderstood and think I am close to Eric?' Emily wondered.
"Yes, Miss White, we realise our wrong, so we are here to apologise," Isabella said when she saw that Emily did not seem to believe them. She looked at Lisa, telling her to join in, but Lisa pretended not to notice. She was unwilling to apologise.
After all, she was the embarrassed one. Seeing that they look sincere, Emily decides to accept the apology and not look petty.
"It's okay; there is nothing to forgive," Emily smiled, curious about what they would do next. Moreover, she could not argue with them when they seemed so sincere.
