Emily took a deep breath, although those years ago, she had believed that Mr Brown was responsible for her family's tragedy with no solid evidence to prove it, apart from the conversation she heard from the attackers. After investigating for years, there has been no proof to lock the man up for his crimes. Emily knew that a person in the position of Mr. Brown would have ways of cleaning up his mess, so it was not surprising that they could not find evidence, but she kept looking because she believed there was no such thing as a perfect crime.
Looking at the flash drive in her hand, Emily felt that she had finally found the breakthrough she had been looking for all along.
