The more Maria thought about Emily's attitude towards her, the more she felt angry. She knew that her son was not someone who could be easily seducef but since he refused to listen to her she decided to pick on Emily.
Emily in her opinion was a lady from a small family who managed to make a name for herself. But so what? She was a little girl without her parents protection. She thought that Emily would back out or even tried to plead with her but the little girl dared to fight back
"We must teach her a lesson," Maria told her husband after she narrated the situation at the office. Of course it's was an exaggerated tale.
