Emily was working in her office that afternoon when her secretary came to inform her that someone was there to see her.
"Why would you come to inform me if a guest without an appointment is here?" Emily frown. She had a lot of work to deal with and had no time to waste.
"I apologize ma, but the woman introduced herself as Mrs Brown the wife of the Chairman of ABM," the Secretary explained. Although Mrs Brown had no appointment a secretary like her did not have the right to stop her.
Emily was surprised , she had only meet Eric's mother at the ABM anniversary, they both did not like each other so she did not see the reason for her visit.
"Send her away," Emily instructed thinking of her previous encounter. She could guess she was in the company to say something nasty.
"Yes ma," The Secretary said and left the office. Emily threw the thought at the back of her mind and continued to work.
