Eric had no idea that the more he resisted Lily the more she was determined to have him. Although, he was the CEO of ABM and should not leave before the end of the party, he had lost interest as long as Emily was leaving.
Moreover, he could easily guess why his mother would meet Emily and say those baseless words to her. He has made up his mind to be with Emily, this time he was not going to allow his father choose for him. They already choose his career and everything else. "Get in," Eric opened the door of the passager seat for Emily.
