The day passed without any event, fortunately Emily did not run into Eric so she felt more calm. During lunch the next day Emily run into Eric, the man had a warm smile but when she saw he she thought of the kiss and felt a bit embarrassed.
Indeed it was Eric that made the first move but he did not kiss her. She was the one who had made the last move. "I should not have gotten drunk," Emily regrets her actions..
"Mr Brown," Emily called out. Anyway, it's just a kiss, I did not force myself on him. Emily cheered herself up.
"Miss White," Eric called out. He also thought about the kiss they shared. Seeing her his gaze unconsciously landed on her lips. He wanted to kiss her. It felt like he had diecoved delicious food and wanted to eat it all the time.
Emily relaxed when he acted as usual.
The two sat on the table and eat quitly.
"Do you notice that there is something different about those two?" Greg asked Amy who was seated next to him.
"you dare to gossip about your boss?" Amy asked. She was also curious, she felt her boss acted differently but she did not dare gossip about it..
Greg looked at Amy and rolled his eyes, " we are just observing how is this gossiping," he argued.
Amy opened her mouth but she had no words to refuse him. So she short it back m "You can observe with your eyes, there is no need to drag me into it," She said after a while.
"Are you that scared, your boss is nice, unlike my boss but he would not her angry because of a simple observation. Let me tell you something.. It is best to observe your boss in order to know her mood. This way you would know when to speak or keep quiet," Greg acted like a teacher..
" oh, then I can tell that my boss wants me quite now, " Amy was not fooled.
This morning she heard a lot of people talking about the party Emily and Eric attended together.
It was something that was not even covered by the media but some how employees started to gossip about it, saying that her Boss was shamelessly seducing the Eric.
She felt that all this people were blind. From the beginning it was Eric who always goes to sit with the boss. He was also. The owner of the invitation card, he should have invited anyone to be his date but he chosed Emily, so how did it become her seducing him.
"Do you think that their relationship move to the official status? I heard from my boss driver that the two got along well," Greg said. He was really hungry for gossip.
His boss has been acting like someone that is possessed in the past few days, so hr was curious to know if any thing happened.
" Why are you behaving like a paparazzi? Do you want to change careers? " Amy asked. She sounded very disinterested but she was thinking in her heart if what Greg said was possible.
After all, she noticed that the two kept secretly looking at the other. 'why are they behaving like tenegers though?' she wondered.
Ahh, this has nothing to do with me, Amy shook her head. Meanwhile Olivia was glared at Emily.
"I knew this woman was bad news," She thought. Listening to all the whispers around her. "Why are you making a mountain out of this? It is only a party. Who said they acted like a couple. Our boss is engaged to miss Smith, don't forget the close relationship between Miss and Mr Sky," Olivia said.
She knew that the staff point of view did not change anything but she just could not stand listening to all their comments.
" Just a party, I think since the time Smith cooperation used ABM, the engagement is nonexistent, " someone said.
" Did it ever exist? It's was just rumors alright, just like you are starting another one now," Another said.
"What do you know? Do you think their relationship is so simply, Boss doesn't do anything each time he comes around and always shares a table with her even if there empty seats, who would believe there is nothing going on?" another joined the conversation.
" You are right, if Our boss is really engaged to moss Smith, why would he take miss White to such an important occasion, " The first person to argue with Olivia said.
" But I thought miss White is with amr Sky, the two looked good together during crushing cruise and FF party, " someone said.
The more they spoke the more Olivia felt that her ear was hurting.
After the gossip during lunch, everyone returned to their duties. Emily had a lot of work to handle, so she warked last into the night even after she allowed Amy to go and rest.
There were a few document that needed her attention and it was not save to mose them carelessly, so she decided to work late. The project site had good security, so she did not have to worry about anything.

As she worked Emily heard a knock on the door, she looked at the time, it was a few minutes passed eight.
"Come in," Emily thought that one of her staffs was yet to leave and wanted to ask some question.
"What is the issue?" Emily asked not raising her head from the document when she heard the footsteps.
"I brought dinner,"
Emily immediately looked up when she heard the voice. She thought her ears were playing tricks on her but when she looked up, Eric was really the person standing there. "Mr Brown," Emily called out unable to hide her surprise.
"I am working late and sent my assistant to order dinner, I noticed you also seem busy, so I asked him to order for two," Eric said. He sounded so naturally that one may think this was an often occurrence.
"Thank you Mr Brown, you didn't have to," Emily said. He already bought the food, it would be difficult to reject since both of them acted peaceful on the surface.
"You don't have to be so formal. As regards this project we are partners, so it's only logical for me to do this," Eric said and made himself comfortable.
"You really did not have to, I would soon be leaving, this is why I did not ask my assistant to get something," Emily said. She watched as the man sat down and started to open the food.
"I was not sure what you would want to eat, so I ordered a few things," Eric said as he opened one cover after another.
"Miss White, as a business woman, you should know that your health is the most important thing. You have to take care of yourself. Don't Scio meals and eat at the right time," Eric said.
Emily looked at th man who has taken the role of a mentor telling her what to do.
" What is he up to? " Emily wondered. She would never believe it, even if a prophet told her that it was nothing.
"So what would you like to eat?" Eric asked seeing that he had been speaking for so long but Emily did not say a word.
"Thank you," Emily said and picked up the meal closest to her. After thinking about it for some time, Emily felt that he would not poison her, since this is the case, she should just eat.
The aurma of the food already made her hungry so she chose not to reject it and eat a little.
Emily had just taken a bite when she noticed Eric was picking up another plate. "What are you doing?" She questions.
"Eating, don't you know it much more fun to eat with others than alone," Etoc said in a matter of fact tone.
"Great, how shameless, he invited himself to eat with me. Who say he brought me dinner few minutes ago," Emily complained. She knew that he could not bring the food for nothing but why he was eating with her was something he could not understand. Moreover, he could not ask him to leave.
"It just eating dinner together, I have list count of how long we eat lunch together," Emily comforted herself.
When Eric saw that she was quite, he was pleased with his plans and continue to eat. He knew that she was guildedbagaisy him but he wanted to break her wall of protection.
Anyway, Eric did not feel that he had done anything unforgivable yo her. He felt that as long as he showed his sincerity, Emily would fall for him.
Although, he did not have any experience with courting a woman, he believes that with his brain and handsome face no women should be able to resist.
Emily continue to eat, she unintentional caught sight of his moving lios and she could not help but remember the feeling of those lips on her.
"What am I thinking?" Emily facepalm in her head.
