"Do you think there is something wrong with Project Nabot, why else will ABM act so arrogance," a top manager asked. They were currently in a meeting with the top managers.
"There is nothing wrong with the project, if you ask me, I will say ABM is just acting arrogant as usual," another manager said.
"what if it only looks this good on the outside?" the first manager asked. when Emily first come to discuss the project the first manager was not present. This was because only two of the old manager were allowed as Emily was still keeping her identity a secret. At that time Emily did not want to send Gabriel because she did not want to alert ABM. The first manager was from the marketing department so it was unnecessary for him to be present.
"Are you saying that you have a better view than the chairman?" the second manager could not help but roll his eyes. he felt that the marketing manager was overestimating himself, they were here to discuss the cooperation, and no one was asking for his opinion.
when the marketing manager heard this question he looked at the CEO to see if he was offended by his words. seeing that the CEO's expression still looked normal he took a deep breath in relive but he did not dare say another word.
This was how the meeting started, after discussing all that was needed for the cooperation they discuses other important matters and the meeting come to an end. the manager from the marketing department hurried out of the meeting hall first. It was like he feared the CEO finding him to explain his words earlier.
Mr.Sky was already planning to take a step back from the company, so he was handing over many responsibilities to his son. So currently Samuel Sky was the CEO of the company. after the meeting, Samuel decided to go and see his father.
"How was the meeting?" Mr. Sky
asked.
"Everything has been arranged but i still feel this partnership will come with a lot of problems. especially with ABM on Steam. i think we do not need this trouble now," Samuel said.
"It may have a little problem but i doubt Mr. Brown will go too far, after all, we are not scared of ABM," Mr. Sky.
"We can not afford to become enemies because of this little bit of benefits" Samuel replied. Although the project seems to have a lot of prospects he did not think it was worth the risk.
"We can afford it, we have not done anything to go against them. we can not just avoid having conflict like coward this is business and it is not our fault" Mr. Sky told his son. The contract has already been signed. Why should he be afraid to partner with a company since ABM is targeting it?
"you are right, I guess I was overthinking things," Samuel replied. He knew his father was not someone to take a step without looking at the whole picture.
"ABM may be greedy for the power in their country but it has nothing to do with me. our country is a good market place and I am sure he will not risk what he stands to lose by fighting with me after all we can always make his product look bad here," Mr. Brown was very confident about this.
Samuel nodded his head and handed over the report of the meeting to his father.

Emily got to the company before the work hour the next day, the previous day was her first day in the company, she had a lot to do that she did not even notice how the company has been run in the last five years. although she got a weekly report the feeling was different.
Kevin followed her behind and answer all the questions she asked. they have only worked together for a day but he was satisfied with her work ethic. As a person who works directly with Gabriel, he was already having the idea that Emily was the one that has been making all the major decisions.
Apart from the security and cleaners the whole building was as good as empty, Emily took a small tour around the company building before going to her office.
"you have a meeting at 8 am with the board members," Kevin informed her after she was seated. the meeting should have been yesterday but due to the turn of events, it was moved to the next morning.
"Okay," Emily nodded. Kevin went on to tell her about her other meetings and secluded for the day. Emily nodded her head as she listened to him. she felt satisfied with how efficient he was with his work.
after Kevin left Emily turned her attention to the monitor and watched how the staff interacted with each other. after what happened to her parent Emily could not trust anyone easily. she knew that the Browns will want to keep a close look on the company, so she decided to pay attention to her staff, especially the vice president.
Two minutes before eight Emily got up and walked outside her office when Kevin saw her walking out he unconsciously looked at the time, there were still two minutes so he was suprised to see her walking out. he immediately composed himself and picked up the document that will be needed for the meeting.
it was a minute to eight when they got into the meeting hall. no one was present yet, so Emily took the head table and waited for the directors to arrive.
Usually when a meeting was fixed at eight am, it will only start by eight-fifteen, so the managers only started to arrive at five minutes past eight. There were seven in total.
When the first person walked in and saw Emily he was so shocked. Even if they have not met her personally the news was everywhere.
"Good morning," the manager greeted respectfully. Most of them did not take her seriously because of her age and gender but they did not dare to show it on their face.
Emily nodded her head and looked at the time, the manager suddenly felt scared seeing the way she looked at her watch.
"What kind of work ethic has Gabriel allowed in her company?" Emily was not pleased with it at all.
Two managers walked in next, they were chatting with each other, since Gabriel was never early they just greeted the other manager and were about to get seated when they notice Emily.
"Why was she here so early?" The two of them had the question in their heart but they only greeted ger and took their seat.
All the other managers arrive and felt the same surprise. Finally, Gabriel arrived at eight-fifteen. He was also shocked. He thought that Kevin will inform Emily about the meeting timing.
The hall fell into a dead silence.
