"Why did you agree to let him get into the company?" Jude asked Emily once he got the update from Mr Charles.
"He is working with ABM," Emily was not going to hide anything from him, so she told him the truth.
Jude ran his hand when he heard her answer; how could he not know what she was thinking? Emily liked to take risks. "this is the worst time to onboard an enemy," he said after giving it a thought. He knew it was too late to change her mind, but he was scared that she would make the same mistakes in the future.
"I should make a few mistakes and allow ABM to lead me by the nose; it is too much to always win against them; without candy, the game becomes boring," Emily argued.
"send the draft to the legal team; I agreed before signing," Jude just felt a headache. He knew that Emily was right to fall into the trap of the Browns; after all, she could not be too dazzling. This might bring misfortune faster, but he just felt it was the wrong time.
