The next day Eric woke up with a headache. His bodyguards had already expected this, so they ordered soup and medication for him. When Eric was done, he decided to visit his parents for lunch.
After he moved out of the house, he would visit during the weekend when he was within the city. All morning he tried his best not to think of Emily. Eric was just close to the house when he received a call from Jin.
"What is the update," Eric asked.
"Steam got an invitation to the international technology conference," Jin replied. Eric did not expect to hear such news. Only ABM has been qualified to attend from Ua in the last five years. In the past, the Williams also got the chance. He knew that Steam had good potential, but he never expected them to get an invite that year. He thought they would have to wait till next year, which was enough time to cripple it.
"Are you sure?" Eric, for the first time, doubted Jin's information.
