Alex left so early in the morning that Astrid didn't even see him before going to school. Just like always Rachel and Haley came to pick Astrid up. Astrid noticed the gloomy expression on her friends' faces so she had to ask why.
"Why are you both looking for gloomy?"
"You wouldn't want to know." Rachel replied before driving away. Before they came to pick up Astrid, the two friends spoke about what they all felt last night. Haley's coven is in alliance with Rachel's pack. Haley told Rachel about the emergency meeting that would soon be held in their coven. Rachel didn't like the idea of having many witches and wizards united in one city, it always forebodes a calamity.
