The eighteen left in the hall that were selected gathered around Moirai. The nine seniors directly facing him while the five intermediates and three juniors formed behind him.
"So, here's the thing," Moirai started. "The Selection was already restricted due to some factors."
James hummed, before being nudged in the side by Carla.
"Firstly, Colette needed to follow us because of her time control abilities. She was already sought after by most of the other parties aggressively so it would be a waste to leave her behind. Second was, baban had to come along with us."
"But really, did he?" Tomás asked. There was a hint of a frown on his gentle face.
Moirai sighed.
"Well, I get what you think, that he may not have trusted us enough to work well together. And I can't blame him though. I mean, I've my own flaws with distrust, but two of our seniors here took it to a new level without regard for their juniors that were watching!"
