P.O.V. Aimy
[God, that man William is something of a great Grimm hunter, and his medical skills are a godsend even without his semblance like he's a damn prodigy in his field. Also, his weapons were so strange that the rifle and pistol he was using didn't use dust from its looks, so what was it.] I'm taken out of my thoughts when I hear one of my men start talking to me.
Fighter "Chief that man why did you cut a deal with him? We have more people even if we lost most of our fighters we still should have been able to get better terms."
Aimy "I know I understand what you mean but you saw how he cleaved through 12 grimm at once and damn nevermore if anything we all should have been dead from this encounter. And when I looked at him I froze up like my senses were telling me not to fuck with him and before you say anything else I'd rather sell my body to someone like that to protect the people my father entrusted to me."
Fighter "Yes, Chief I'm sorry for doubting you, please forgive me." as the warrior does a 90-degree bow.
Aimy "it's alright. I know you all care about me, and I forgive you."
Fighter "Thank you, Chief." he says as he gets back up and walks away to guard the perimeter.
As I see the fighter walk away, I lift up and pull my Dane axe onto my shoulders. [God, I hope I don't do anything stupid that and even if I did say he can have my body, I can't say I'm against it, especially with someone as strong and knowledgeable as William.] as I think my heart beats faster like a maiden in love as I feel blood rush to my cheeks. I lightly smack my cheeks and get myself under control. [Well, it should be about time to move out here soon. Hopefully, William keeps his side of the deal for more reasons than one.]
P.O.V. change William Flashback
I wake up in the back of a humvee with my left vision blurred a bit from just waking up. It's dark outside with the low roar of the humvee moving down the sandy dirt road. Looking to my left, I see James sleeping on the way back to base. Smiling to myself, thinking how far we've made it in this damn sandbox—[just a couple more hours and we should be at the f.o.b. Still, I hate us being in the ass end of the convoy, but hopefully, me and James can get a drink at the base to celebrate us finally pulling out of this damn place. I can't wait…]. My thoughts are interrupted by a loud explosion in front of us, jutting James and my other squadmate awake. With the humvee in front of us slowly crawling to a halt from the I.E.D. It was hit by as our driver stomps on the brakes without thinking. I start to get out of the humvee as James gets out with me to get anyone injured out.
With James and Willam at the humvee, they both start opening the doors to the humvee pulling out one man, each bringing them to an A.P.C. that opens its back hatch, letting them get the unconscious soldiers inside.
James "William, this guy needs some medical attention. I'm going back out to get the other guys." says James confidently as he goes back outside to get the injured soldiers.
William "Damnit, James, alright, just get back here safe, alright." As I looked over, the soldier James grabbed.
With said soldier bleeding from the head a bit [Alright, a concussion but not too bad.]
I start patching his head up to stop the bleeding; as I finish, I hear some shots fired, but I ignore it to focus on my patients but stop as I hear a loud boom then I hear James screaming in pain, spinning my body around and getting up. I see James on the sand road slowly crawling towards the A.P.C. with a blood trail where his legs should be. Without thinking for a second, I try to get out of the A.P.C. At the same time, some of the other soldiers have to tackle me to stop me from getting out.
U.S. Soldier 1 "William, you can't go out there man, we need you to stay calm."
U.S. Soldier 2 "He's right William we need to…"
The soldier is interrupted by another loud boom as what seems like time is stopping for William as James looks at him with a sorrowful expression while mouthing, "I'm sorry, Will." as James' head explodes with bone fragments, gray matter, and blood going all across the sand.
William "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JAMES!!!" As tears start to form in William's eyes, his vision changes to a grass that's blood red.
Flashback end
Slowly William gets up from being prone on the ground.[Why…why James, I'm sorry I'm so sorry I couldn't help you.] As I'm lost in thought, I don't hear a low screech near me as I'm hit across the chest by a claw. As I hear some of my ribs that we're able to heal break again, I'm flung to the closest tree as I activate my aura to protect me. As I look up, I see a Deathstalker right in front of me again. I pull out my pistol and shoot at the left pincer, trying to grab me as the Deathstalker recoils back for a second as I pull out beast cutter doing a horizontal slash on its right claw crushing it entirely as its stinger comes from above. I turn to smoke, getting on top of it where the stinger is connected to the main body and cut the stinger clean off with beast cutter as I unload the remaining rounds of my pistol into the Deathstalkers back, killing it as it falls.
As I reload my pistol getting off the corpse, I hear the same heavenly voice again "Skill unlocked Blood manipulation due to hidden requirements Blood manipulation has been upgraded to Blood arts."
As I was about to ask, a messenger popped up and gives me my stats again, now reading.

Sighing to myself as I look over the scroll, I notice that the messenger seems smaller than last time [Did I get taller?] as if to mock me, the heavenly voice replied to my question." Yes, host you grew from 6'2 to 6'8 and your body has adapted as well with your body's muscles being chiseled to the point of perfection." [So it's because of the old blood, correct? And will this happen again?] I reply as I hear a chuckle from the voice. "No it will not happen again since your body has become the perfect host for the blood, and you will not have the same adverse effects from the blood because of the system."
[That's good also; since you're here, can you purchase limited inventory for me with the commotion I made. I don't want the messengers to be seen.]
System "Very well host it's been purchased. Just think of opening a bag to open the inventory. I have to go now host, happy hunting."
Doing as the system said, I imagined opening a bag, and a dark blue pocket opened as I put in the rifle to test it out. Closing and opening it with my rifle still inside when I hear what sounds like hoof's coming towards me as I point my pistol in the direction of the noise while getting beast cutter ready I then hear Aimy's voice
Aimy" William you alright we heard fighting?"
William "Yes Aimy i'm alright."
Aimy replied with a sigh of relief as she walked into the opening where me and the Death Stalker corpse is but stopped walking when she saw me.
Aimy "Uh William were you always this tall, or did something happen to you?" she asks concerningly.
William "I don't know all I remember is walking into the forest, passing out for a bit, waking up and getting attacked by a Death stalker."
Aimy "Alright I'll take your word the other reason is my people are ready to move and I was wondering if you're going to keep your end of the deal." Aimy says authoritatively
I smile at Aimy, replying, "Yes, I plan to keep my end of the deal if you were worried about that either way, let's get you and your people to Higanbana." As Aimy and I walk back together, I see a raven with red eyes land on a tree next to us. It seems I'm the only one to see it. I stop and stare at it for a second and continue walking with Aimy.
As Aimy and I get back to her people, they all seem ready for a long trip with the people and fighters grabbing whatever valuables that survived the Grimm attack.
Aimy "All right, everyone we are moving we make sure you took the bare minimum you need to make a new life in Higanbana." she says somewhat hopefully. "And since we have William here it should be an easy trip." smiling and gesturing to me while several people are perplexed by my new height but quickly come back to reality as everyone starts moving on the dirt road heading southeast.
