Chapter 1 - Back to the Beginning

She screamed really loudly because she was so scared and confused. It felt like she had just woken up from a really scary dream. Her heart was beating really fast and she couldn't believe that it was all just in her imagination.

(The last thing I remembered was drinking tea that the queen made for me. But now, I realized that I wasn't in the queen's room anymore. )

There was a man standing in the doorway and he looked surprised to see her current state. She didn't understand how he knew her . He talked to her in a surprised and unsure voice.

She got out of bed slowly, still feeling confused from the dream. The room felt familiar, like she had been there before, even though she knew it wasn't possible. She went up to the mirror in front of the bed and looked at herself, hoping to feel more real. Her mind was racing, trying to figure out what was going on. Who was the man and why did he seem familiar?

Then, she suddenly realized something and said it out loud in disbelief.

"Old man jurun?,is it you" she asked

The old man seemed shocked and confused by what she said. It was like her words really surprised him.

To her surprise, when she looked in the mirror, she saw not only her own face, but also a younger version of herself. She was so shocked and confused that she wanted to slap herself to see if it was real. But before she could do that, the old man said something that broke the silence.

"What's wrong, Your Majesty?" Master Jurun said with a look of concern and curiosity.

(When I got to the castle, I realized I almost forgot why I came back. I still can't figure out what to do about it. But then I got hungry and started thinking about how much I miss the amazing food made by Chef Jerry.)

She is trying to make the old man feel better by saying that there's no need to worry because the bad dream they had was probably just influenced by something upsetting that happened earlier.

(As I smoothly spun around, deciding not to stick around for the master's response, I felt a sudden wave of worry wash over me, filling my heart with unease about the situation and the upcoming reunion with my beloved family.)

"Oh my, I am quite curious as to the whereabouts of the young master's father. It's rather amusing, don't you think?"she said with an excitement.

(As we strolled down the hallway, memories from my younger days came flooding back. The awesome photographs on the walls caught my eye and reminded me of moments from times gone by.This brings back fond memories of our enjoyable chat.)

"..."

(Even though I don't turn around, I can tell my master is confused. But he stayed calm until we get to the entrance of the family's dining hall. And then, two guards open the door.

After saying "His Majesty," he respectfully bowed his head, smoothly turned, and left the room with a touch of grace.)

(So, my Master and I hadn't talked for a while, and right before we got to the dining room, he just took off. I was caught off guard and nervous to face everyone else, knowing I had caused some problems for them. But I put on a nice purple dress, did my hair, and wore some fancy earrings and jewelry. When I looked at my family, and all the things i have right now, I realized how much they cared about me.)

(I said hi to my dad in a unsure way and did a fancy curtsy that made my mom jump up. My mom taught me how to be a princess, so it went pretty well. It was kinda embarrassing, but I felt like I had to do it. Surprisingly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.)

(Dad was like, "Uh! Ah! Hmm!" and then he casually invited their guest to join them for a yummy breakfast. He was all friendly and stuff, making sure everyone felt welcome and cozy.)

(As I did a nice thing, I suddenly realized how shocking it was for them. Am i too deliquent and boyish before?.The whole room got quiet for a second and it seemed like everyone appreciated what I did. It made me think about how it shocked everyone around me.)

(After a minute, my family got back to talking and finally put an end to the awkward silence. This time, it was my dad who started the conversation.)

"Hmm!...Voselia, why don't you wear the formal attire that the southern royal family gave you last week? Your uncle is offended, that's why you made him think you didn't like your gift." Father said seriously

(So, my little sister Vocelia is a lot like our mom in terms of personality. Dad's pretty strict with her, but he also gives her more attention than he gives me and my other sibling. I think it's because she's the baby of the family. Back when we were kids, Dad was pretty chill about our schoolwork and stuff, which might explain why I got into a bit of trouble back then.)

"Dad, it wasn't my intention to do that. He made me wear pink dresses, which I hate because its so feminine."

What did you say? - Mother asked, sounding kind of threatening.

"Hahaha. It's nothing, Mom." She whispered awkwardly.

Our mom is way cooler than the rebellious Vocelia. This kid is totally different from her past version.

"Huh?!!"

Arelia didn't even realize her family overheard her.

"What's wrong, honey?" She gets up and walks across the table. "What's wrong?"

(Arelia was out cold and didn't even hear her mom calling her.)

She ended up sitting in her bed before she even noticed.

"HUH? Uhh?!" she exclaimed while looking down at her hands. "Where am I?"

Then she looked around the room she was in an hour ago, feeling pretty familiar with it.

"Oh! Stupid me..." She smiled and nodded slightly.

(So, I was chowing down when I suddenly remembered what went down the night before. I stumbled upon the crown prince's diary meant for my bro and headed into the palace. The Queen called me over and we had some tea, but then I passed out. Next thing I know, I'm back in my younger body. I must've croaked from poison or something. Gotta keep this a secret, though.)

"But how old am I?" she said and scratched the back of her head. "Am i 20 again?

(Yeah, that makes sense. So, apparently, my sister didn't end up wearing the dress my uncle made. And because of that, my uncle got all moody and started complaining to my dad. This whole thing went down last week, and then, after five days, my dad finally decided to let my uncle make another dress to make things right.)

"I remember it's for my mother, right-"

"Huh?!, no, I don't think it's for her." She mumbled

"hmm...ah!"

(Ugh, so it's for my wedding. I was like, "Hey mom, that dress is cute!" but then I found out it's actually for me. And then my dad had to go into all the details about the whole arranged marriage thing on the big day. Fun stuff.)
