Maria's POV
The crowd had gone wild with cheering. she was impressive. everything that you are done was equally impressive. unlike all other random days where I got to see a different side of Miriam and where I defeated her so easily, Miriam had won against the prisoners who she was contesting against even though she seemed so skilled. it honestly shocked me. it had taken more time and it had equally given her the opportunity to show off her fighting skills. it actually makes me realise that there is a lot more to this hand then I realise. perhaps she has been practicing after all these years. maybe she had increased her experience and fought a lot more people. the last time I and William had been up against each other was the day that her father came to attack the rogues.
