"For the first time, Our people are not worried about what they will eat or where they'll stay. They are happy. you have given them that happiness. You have shown them hope that the Freedom they have long desired can be attained. Do you know how difficult it is living out here in the wild? Happiness is not something you come across every day? These people are genuinely happy. rogues are never United. we never fight for each other. We have always been fighting for ourselves or against each other. What you see right here is something unheard of. we come from different parks, not only from Silverlight Park. and we are here United for the first time for this noble cause. You have given them hope, don't take it away from them.''
As Isabella turns around and walks towards her father, I realize that she was not ready for the bitter truth. I realise that she was guarding herself and hoping for the best even though all the signs showed that something was wrong. Would I really be taking away the hope of his people by telling them that someone among them was betraying us? This would kill them. This would kill the hope they had for unity and peace. They had already put their faith in each other and in creating a stable Pack together. They would never trust each other if I brought this truth across.
Alpha Donovan was up to something and I was the only person who saw it. He should have destroyed the food but he didn't. he ordered his men to retreat and yet it was something the alpha has never done. All the times we were going to battle with him, Alpha Donovan would rather die than go back home a failure. a bunch of rogues would never have scared him into retreating. When I look at everyone here, I do not see any serious injuries. The people are happy. As though they were not hurt and as though about what had not just occurred. they had specifically played with our heads. They were distracting us. distracting us from something. the supplies that alpha Donovan's army had destroyed were just little. This had to be a different strategy he was using.
"Luna, we are ready to move.'' one of the men informed me. he was about 5 feet tall with a dark complexion. He seemed pretty muscular and I would owe it to the survival of staying in the wild.
"Walk with me,'' I say to him, moving forward as he follows me Keenly.
"Is there something bothering you, luna?'' he asks in humility. I still cannot get used to the address of that name. I was only a Warrior from where I came from and being called Luna over and over again toys with my senses.
" I'm afraid there is. What is your name?''
"Jeremiah but my friends call me J. '' he responds excitedly.
" very well, I suppose I'm your friend right.'' I retort with a smile.
" of course Luna. ''
" that name makes me feel so old,'' I say in laughter.
"It is the title that suits you. You are an amazing leader lunar Maria.'' Jeremiah response.
" how long have you been out here?'' I ask him.
'' 11 years now. when my older brother was banished from Black Diamond Park, he took me with him because we had no family or relatives back in the park. we have survived all this time.'' he responds without hesitation. That is exactly what I was looking for. I needed to converse with each one of these rogues and try to find out who was giving a lie.
'' Now tell me J, is there anyone among these bunch that you don't trust?''
