CHAPTER 19 – BOOKS
"Let's gather everyone in the hall. We have something to find."
A medium that can connect two different worlds together.
After everyone gathered in the hall, I told everyone from the start. I think I can trust everyone with my real level at this point. As I explained everything about my interaction with Gaia, I also tell them what was written in the book.
"This is way too weird. There have to be more to this story of these two worlds.", Cho – Hee questions after listening to the story.
"I know, I can't possibly trust her either. There are so much of missing parts but for now, let's focus on finding that thing."
"Even if you say that there is no information about it. In short, what are we even looking for?"
Cho – Hee's concern is reasonable, she didn't tell me any way to find it. How am I supposed to identify and verify?
Is there even a way to get more knowledge? Maybe some old books or…
Wait for books!
A library. I should check the library of this capital city.
"I have an idea, Let's visit the capital city library and check all books related to Gaia and any old history records."
"Do you think we will find anything there?"
"Of course, not but it will help us to narrow down our search."
Just like what Emma said, there is no way we will find anything in a public library, but it will at least help in narrowing down our search. We might be able to tell what we are exactly looking for.
"Let's visit the library."
After that, we all visited the library of the capital city. This is definitely not a small place.
As we entered the library. There was a total silence like every library should be.
"Excuse me! Is there a book regarding Gaia or something similar?"
"Ah, yes, we do have books under that pretext. It will be in that area.", the receptionist pointed at the last row of the bookshelf on the right side.
"Thank you!"
"Let's try to find something that we might need."
Even in this section, it's hard to find what I am looking for. I don't know how much time it will take but maybe we might find something.
In this section of books, there are almost more than 50 books, and we might have to look into every book.
This is hard to say if I found any lead or not but it's already evening while reading for so long. Girls have also checked different books so that they might have found something.
At the end of the day, this is what we found.
"Alvin, there isn't much information on Gaia but in one of the books it is described as a goddess and mother of all life.", Cho – Hee speaks about what she found.
"Yeah, I guess I kind of understood that much either. In books, it says Gaia divided a part of herself as a system."
Sakura also shows me a book and says, "This book is kind of a storytelling book but it is about how a person blessed with the god of death was the greatest monarch of all time."
"How is that story related to Gaia and what are we looking for?"
"Because it says in the title THE WORLD OF GAIA."
World of Gaia? A world created by her.
And there is also another god 'God of Death'
The God of Death… wait,
The death,
If I remember correctly, I do have a sword name God of death.
Uh… why do I feel like the storyline of this world has entered a different phase which is completely unknown and I can't predict it any longer?
Sigh…
Well, I also found a book. It's neither about an item we are searching for nor about the Gaia, It's just the history of all different types of species and their characteristics.
And by pure coincidence, I looked at the High Human Race category. I completely forgot that I'm not just a human and there is more to it that's hidden about my character profile.
Maybe I will take both of these books.
"Emma, did you also find something? If not, we should head home.",
"About that, I don't know if I say I found something but this book that I read. It's on imperial family.", Emma speaks while looking at the book.
"Imperial Family?", why are we talking about them now?
"It says, imperial families never change. In other words, imperial families just keep their successors on the throne. The Same family is ruling for over two hundred years."
"So, they might have several information of ancient artifacts, runes, and many more information that's not made to the public."
"Exactly."
Interesting… looks like I have to visit the imperial palace once more.
