Lee's suspicions were clearly seen when he found out that the man who was said to be Mr. Smith had come to meet Reina and entered the apartment. Lee had just come out of the bathroom after taking a shower and was surprised to see Reina along with Mr. Smith in the living room. "Lee, this is my Papa. Papa... This is Lee, my best friend."
"Huh?! Oh, yes. Nice to meet you, Mr. Smith. I'm Lee, Reina's friend." The surprised Lee couldn't help but reach out to shake hands with the suspicious man. Since knowing all about Kenzo, Lee actually thinks that Reina's parents as a child were evil people and the real kidnappers. All the evidence points to that but Reina still feels love for her parents who have cared for her since childhood. It was this affection that made Reina unable to easily trust Kenzo.
"Nice to meet you too, Lee. Thank you for taking care and protecting Raina all this time."
